Record numbers of visitors attend Chemspec Europe in Cologne

Chemspec Europe promised to be the biggest and best event on record this year, as it celebrated it 30th year anniversary and it certainly lived up to it's claims with an increase of of 30% of visitors from the previous year in Budapest and over 20% more than it previous record in Munich in 2013.

The introduction of a new networking app enabled attendees to the international exhibition for the fine, custom and speciality chemicals market, to connect and plan their meetings prior to the event. With over 20% of the pre-registered visitors using the system prior to the event and almost 600 meetings booked, there was a clear boost to pre-registered attendee levels with over 70% of those who registered in advance turning up for the exhibition to network and do business.

The vast range of free conference content including the EFCG Crop Protection & Fine Chemicals Forum, RSC Speciality Chemicals Symposium, REACH Ready Regulatory Services Conference Sessions, Scientific Update Pharma Workshops, Pharma Outsourcing Best Practices Panel Discussions and Agrochemicals Intermediates Conference kept visitors busy throughout the event in addition to the 400+ exhibitors.
